do you have backup gear?
um that is like asking if you have more than 1 pair of undies….YES! we are never without backup gear. you can’t reshoot a wedding because your gear broke down so be smart and have back ups…
what computers do you use? MAC everything!!! mac laptop 17″ and desktop 20″ screen.
what point and shoot do you use?our iphones
who designed your website? we use Showit, who is awesome! We bought a template from Promise Tangeman and then customized it to our liking
what about the design of the blog? i used prophoto blogs to integrate with my website. again fully custom and used with wordpress
what lab do you use? whcc because they are the bomb dot com
do you hire assistamts or can i come along to learn? since we are a tag team we dont want to overwhelm our clients with more than 2 people shooting at their wedding. we always hire assistants to come with us for weddings. this is a NON-SHOOTING position but paid and you can learn a lot and probably laugh a lot too, we have a good time!
how do you post process your images? we use a combination between Lightroom and CS4. we believe less is more for sure so we just like a little tweak here and there. the real secret for getting a kick butt image is to manually expose everything and shoot in RAW.
what’s your favorite thing to shoot? probably bridal portraits for me…i love everything about shooting weddings, the whole aspect but something about bridal portraits make me all giddy inside!
